Although i am giving 4 stars, was disapointed by the taste but that might just be my personal taste and preference and would recomend you try it yourself. The tastes are just like your slightly elevated chinese zhi char food you can find at normal chinese restaurants minus the peking duck.Firstly the Pekong Duck was pretty good with its crispy skin and juicy duck meat. There is the option of cooking the duck further with collagen or what not but would recomend you just cut the duck up on the spot and eat with the skin and egg wrapper. It cost 98 without the promotion but was 58++ with the promo.2nd the seafood tofu pot was pretty good. Well worth the price of 33 with the assortment of different seafoods creatures in it.3rd was the wasabi prawn and salted egg prawn platter. This in my opinion was the best thing and freshest thing i ate during my experience. The prawns were super fresh and it was humongous. Super big. The wasibi prawn had the kick of wasabi and made me tear a little but was shiok.4th is the fried rice noodle threads with seafood. Taste is just okay. Meh~ not worth the price point. Noodle was slightly wet topped with scallops, bean sprouts, egg, and onion.5th was pork ribs. Meh~ typical pork ribs with sauce.Atmosphere noisy. Old traditional chinese restaurant feel with the modern touch.Go there for the peking duck.

Asia Grand Restaurant has been relocated from Odeon Towers to the current venue at Fairmount on Level 3. It has a great entrance, and specialises in Cantonese Cuisine. They have the best dim-sum with the prawns and scallops so fresh, huge and succulent. Other than the regular fare of dim-sum they also serve many Chinese delights. Reservation is highly recommended.Must TriesPeking duck, dim sum, Har Kow, Pork Belly Bun, Winter Melon Seafood Soup, wasabi prawns, Shark Fin soup, BBQ roasted meat combination, Baked Custard Bun...Suitable For,Lunch, Dinner, Children/Family, Large Groups/Gathering, Vibrant/Noisy, Brunch, Business Dining, After Work, Corporate Events, Private Dining, High Tea.Both service and quality of the food is of great details and taste. Food is good but i dont like the duck. Skin not crispy enough and they cut the meat too thick. WENG FOONG and Manager CLINTON CHEUNG is really good. The rest of the server got attitude. Especially female server. The beef has very strong blood taste. Too raw but overall a nice experience and I will still give it 5 star

Peking duck skin too oily. Timsum slightly better than food court.Service: reception needs to be more efficient so that queue is not unnecessarily long. Servers, noticeably the boss n son are very friendly. Si Yuan is attentive n friendly but regretfully they have only one like her.Atmosphere...my boy gave a 2 star but I think the noise is part of timsum place.Overall for same price tag, I would rather go Imperial Treasure or CJ.

My favourite dim sum place since Odeon Towers days. The usual dishes are great. Love the steamed sponge cake and beef chee cheong fun! There were some misses such as the marinated chicken feet (should be server cold and crunchy) and steamed cheong fun w/ dough fritter (not crispy).Still giving 5 stars for the service staff. Si Yuan really stood out as she is very attentive.

An institution. Don’t miss out on the Peking duck offer. It’s a great deal. Dim sum selection is not as wide ranged as other dim sum institutions, but each itself is well-made. It was notably tough to get a reservation on a weekday lunch slot - I had to book 2 weeks in advance. Do take note of that.

The Peking duck was excellent. I had the left over stir-fried with ee fu noodles and it was really good cos they deboned it for us too! The sharks fin dumpling was $15 each and I ordered 2 bowls. Horrors! At $15 for a small bowl they added the fake crab stick inside the dumpling which made the soup n dumpling artificially sweet. Awful. There’s foodflation but how could they use such a cheap ingredient. Very upset.

Had one of the best Peking duck ever as far as memory takes me!We came at 6.30pm for dinner and the restaurant was still rather quiet with so many staff VS patron. The attention was abit overwhelming at first as they hovered around while we looked at the menu and came every minute to suggest something or looked at our order chit (not sure why since we haven’t ordered anything except having reserved a Peking duck over the phone). As the night went on and more patrons came (it was full house on a Tuesday night), you do then appreciate the attentive service. Never once would you find your tea cup empty or do you have to pour it yourself. This place runs on experience. We really loved the Peking Duck and noticed that most tables ordered it. The ducks would be expertly sliced by the captains, leaving just a sliver of the fat under the skin so it is so juicy. After slicing half the duck, they served the first batch of skin on crackers so you can start digging in. The rest were piled on after you were done with the first round. The skin was so crispy and fragrant and the oil on the duck skin was simply divine. The three of us had a good 7-8 slices each. We agreed that we would come back for just the duck alone hahah. The juicier duck parts were then served on its own and the remaining bits were fried with eefu noodles $18.We ordered other dishes - black pepper beef cube $42 (which was tender and robust with the taste of black pepper), sautéed prawn with asparagus $42 (light and tasty), pan-fried kurobuta pork chop with black pepper $18 per piece per person (this was rather tough and we couldn’t appreciate it esp since we were so full by then). As our orders (excluding the Peking duck) came to above $100, the duck was charged at $58 instead of the usual $98 (current offer). Will return during lunch next time so we can have the Peking duck and try the dim sum.Kudos to the great team behind this wonderful restaurant!

This old-time favourite (that’s been around since the 80s) closed & reopened recently at Fairmont. It certainly lives up to its reputation of delivering delicious Cantonese cuisine! Had our CNY lunch here a couple of months ago, kinda late but felt the need to compliment them on the good food & prompt service!Besides the signature Peking duck, a few of my favourite dishes include the chicken, fish & shark’s fin soup. Also enjoyed the dessert of Glutinous rice cake coated with peanut, coz nice to see a nian gao that is not fried for once. 🙂IG @pingguo301

Loved the dining experience here.High quality Chinese food is served here. Can get packed for the dinner service, especially on the weekends. One of the best Peking duck you can get in Singapore: as good as the ones I tried in Beijing!Highly recommended is to get the remaining duck made as sang choy bao instead of salt and pepper.Food here is tasty overall and well balanced.

This review is a little late. Was here on 1st Jan 2023 for the first meal of the year. Expectations were high obviously.Peking duck was good. Crispy fragrant skin and tasty duck meat. The egg based wrap is great too.Enjoyed the sweet and sour pork. It’s hard to get this one wrong in my eyes. Their version is nicely fried, crispy and moist on the inside. Sauce is slightly sourish and just right.Vegetables, beancurd and rice are serviceable but nothing stands out.The red bean pancake took quite a while to be prepared and came out rather dry. It’s a decent meal overall albeit on the pricey end of the spectrum. Around $300 for the food for 8 people.

First time at their new venue within Fairmont every since they moved from Odeon Towers. The space is much bigger here with better views and more private rooms. Overall ambience is perfect for a causal afternoon tea or any business meetings. The range of their Dim Sum selections is very reasonable - you can find the usual popular choices including Liu Shao Bao, Xiao Long Bao etc. Prices from $5-8. A better choice over the likes of Peach Garden and Imperial Treasure in my opinion.Have to say their service and level of attentiveness is top-notch. Quality of their dim sum dishes are still relatively good - definitely no complaints there. Serving is very fast. They have an ongoing promo - $58 for peking duck with min $100 spent. A pleasant experience all-round.

Fantastic experience! The staffs were above and beyond all expectations! Location was comfortable. The food taste was out of this world. Sweet and sour pork was made using rolled meat instead of the usual dice method. It absolutely blew my taste buds away!! Highly recommend to everyone!! Best restaurant in South East Asia! Still my favourite place for dim sum! So glad that they are finally open at a brand new space.Must try Peking duck, char siew bao, mini egg tart, xo sauce carrot cake & roasted pork (shaorou)! These items are fresh, perfectly marinated and cooked! Totally worth the wait and the price. I would love it if they can bring back the steamed fish head dish… this is something I miss.Definitely on the pricier side, but it’s worth it after you’ve tried.

The restaurant recently reopened at another location. It's now located on the third floor of Raffles City Mall. It's now much cleaner and brighter. After 5 years, finally able to return to their new location at Raffles city (Fairmont side) 3rd floor. The food quality and service standard are still as good with a better location and nice decor. Reservation is a must, Book as early as 1-2 weeks before!Fresh and really yummy Dim Sum. Bean curd roll with oyster sauce & Siew mai are the best I've ever eaten. Packed for Sunday lunch. Reservations strongly encouraged as there were hardly any tables for patrons who walked in. Decent service considering the number of tables vs number of staff. Friendly and accommodating. Dim sum dishes were pretty much the same as they were when the restaurant was at the Odeon. Overall enjoyable. Noticed the number of items on menu has shrunk, which is a good idea to focus on their popular and good dishes.

--New Updates Dec 2022--Visited the restaurant after its reopening at Raffles City Fairmont.Ordered a 1.5 kg Oven baked Lobster marinated with creamy butter sauce. Well prepared and we had pre-ordered the lobster 2 days before our visit to the restaurant. The service staff was attentive but the waiting for food was long on this visit. The new restaurant is less spacious compared with the original premise.Making a reservation is a must as its popular.‐-- Original Post ---The restaurant will be closing on the 15th Feb 2022 as the building will be rebuilt. It's a pity, and we will miss it as the owners have not found a suitable location to reestablish it.We will be visiting the restaurant for the coming CNY dinner before it closes. We have been to the restaurant on many occasions and have enjoyed the food, friendly and good service.
